Description

In this episode Joe and I talk about the choices in our life that seem small at the time but end up having a huge impact on our lives.

Originally from Minnesota, Joe attended Concordia College in Moorhead, where he played football and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in sociology and communications. Joe met his wife, a fifth-generation Montanan from a farm and ranching family from Denton, at Concordia. Together, they have two sons, two cats, and a dog named Scotch (you will likely see him around the office).

Joe started his career with State Farm in 2010 as a team member for an agent located in Moorhead, Minnesota. During his time as a team member, he discovered a passion for helping people and is a five-time inductee of the Minnesota Team Member Hall of Fame, awarded to team members who excel in protecting customers through life insurance.

In 2016, Joe and his wife moved to Helena, Montana, and opened his agency on Euclid Avenue. Since opening his doors, Joe has achieved high recognition within State Farm, including earning the honors of Chairmen's Circle, Ambassador's Club, Senior Vice President's Club, and Honor's Club. He was also named Helena’s Best Insurance Agent in 2022 by the Helena Independent Record.

At our agency, we value helping others, honesty and integrity, knowledge and education, and taking care that we are helping customers in the best way possible. Our team also has a deep commitment to community involvement and development, with several team members serving on local boards. Joe currently sits on the boards for the Helena Area Chamber of Commerce and Family Promise, and he is also the executive chair for the Helena Leaders Network. Furthermore, Joe sponsors many local events and sport teams, such as the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Annual Golf Tournament. In his free time, Joe enjoys spending time on Hauser Lake, searching for golf balls in the rough of local golf fairways, and hanging out with friends cheering on the Vikings NFL team.
