Synopsis: Overworked single dad Scott Calvin is not particularly well liked within his family. His ex-wife Laura thinks he's unreliable and snarky, her new husband & psychiatrist Neal thinks he lashes out irrationally and son Charlie is just annoyed. When Charlie arrives to spend Christmas Eve with his dad, he says he no longer believes in Santa, Scott being frustrated by this, spends the evening trying to convince him otherwise, mostly to spite Laura & Neal. But what he doesn't expect is to be wearing the big guys shoes himself.
