Description

My guest this week is Kaleigh Peery, though most people know her as KeeKee or Gypsy. She is a loving angel mother of three, a soulful lifelong artist, a passionate mental health advocate, an extremely proud aunt, and a determined small business owner of GYPSYDAZE - (art from the heart).

She says, "I won't pretend that things have been easy for me. It has taken an immense amount of pain, self-reflection, and resilience to become the strong, intelligent woman I am today. I refuse to let my trauma define me though  and I will not allow my legacy to be a sad story of struggle and loneliness. As a volunteer and board member for my local NAMI branch (National Alliance on Mental Illness), I am able to share my story and be a part of the change I want to see in the world. My goal is to help others gain new perspectives so they feel less alone and more empower . I want others to know that they can be their own hero and it is possible to turn our pain into our super power but  also understand it’s more than okay to not be okay sometimes."

Your host is Janet Sandberg, a former gothic punk girl with a dragon tattoo who is now a Doc Marten wearing spiritual badass. She’s an intuitive channel, coach, energy master, and author who helps people find their soul's purpose and use it to build a life of fulfillment, happiness, love, and success.

After a 23-year-old family friend ended her own life in 2022 and after having survived many years of darkness and despair herself, Janet started this podcast to talk about the darkness so that if you're in it, you'll feel less alone. She wants to let you know that it gets better by sharing inspiring stories from those of us who have made it out the other side and are now thriving.
