Today we're sitting down with Julia Gorman - the creator of Francis Foliage! Today, you know her as the go-to contact, based right here in Buffalo, NY, to preserve all your florals into beautifully pressed frames. What started as just a way for Julia to preserve her own wedding bouquet, has now 'bloomed' into an entire business - all in under 3 years.
But, before Julia became a flower-pressing whiz, she was the owner and designer of her very own clothing line, Vintage Chameleon. From denim shorts to printed flannels and t-shirts, Julia ran one of the most well-known and beloved clothing lines here in the 716 and beyond. Shortly after starting floral preservation in 2020, Julia had started to realize that maybe it was time for the VC chapter to end. After a decade designing her own line, she decided to fully pivot to Francis Foliage in 2022.
