On this week's episode, we're chatting with the creator, owner and barista behind Buffalo Coffee Cart - the original mobile espresso bar traveling all around the 716 - Maggie Silvestri!
We talk all about the world of coffee, and how Maggie began her coffee career just four months before her wedding by opening Roots Coffee and Tea. One day, Maggie had the idea to bring the very same sense of gathering that the shop had, and take the espresso bar on wheels - right to any event! She brought the idea to her dad to build a cart with every aspect of a shop underneath, all the while being compact and aesthetically pleasing to match any decor. And Buffalo Coffee Cart was born!
She spent some time juggling both the cart and the shop, but after a while she knew that she could only continue on with one. Buffalo Coffee Cart went full-time in 2022, so we chatted all about what that first year has looked like. From schools and parties to all sorts of pop-up events, Maggie has learned a lot when it comes to being completely mobile. With her second summer season ahead, we're talking about what's to come and where you can find the cart!
