In this episode, the contrast of the kingdom of heaven against what man knows is developed further by Jesus. It's an upside down kingdom, where the proud are abased and the meek are exalted--those far are brought back again. In continuation of that theme, Jesus sending out and empowering the 70 signals a reversal of the dispersement at Babel. This reversal includes a breaking of demonic authority and a call to the nations to return to The One True God.
