This topic is something both Ema and Sarah are extremely passionate about and is something we believe needs to be spoken about more.
During this episode Ema and Sarah discuss the structural differences between men and women, as well as the hormonal differences.
As women we have some structural differences, such as pelvis size and shape as well as a smaller rib cage, to name a few. These differences mean that there are some exercise technique adjustments that we can make to improve efficiency. We chat about what these technique changes are, and where you can implement them in your training.
We also chat about the menstrual cycle, the different phases and what they are. We believe it's important as women to understand our cycles, as it is our fifth vital sign and an important part of our health.
Next week, we welcome special guest, Sophie Kunico! Soph is a coach, a powerlifter and a mum. We discuss how she juggles it all, mindset, women's health, training and changes she has made in her training since becoming mum. This was a jam-packed episode with so many great takeaways, and we can't wait for you to hear it!
