Description

In this episode, I sit down with my good friend Nic Dowse, who I’ve known for the past 8 or 9 years. It’s always a pleasure catching up with Nic, and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to bring him on the podcast to dive into some pretty heavy yet important topics.

Neither of us expected the conversation to take the turns it did, but that’s the beauty of podcasts – you never know where they’ll end up!

One of the things I appreciate most about Nic is that I often forget he’s living with multiple sclerosis (MS). In our chat, we unpack what MS is, how it affects him on a daily basis, and some important facts about the condition:

As the conversation evolved, we also touched on a topic that is close to both our hearts – CPR and first aid. Nic shared his personal experiences with these lifesaving skills, and his vulnerability moved me deeply. His openness and willingness to talk about something so personal was truly inspiring. I’m passionate about CPR and first aid training, and hearing Nic’s story reinforced how crucial it is to have these skills.

This episode is full of raw, real moments that left me feeling incredibly grateful for Nic’s friendship and perspective. I hope his stories resonate with you as much as they did with me.
