21:32 The most attentive listeners might notice “crunch” sound effects periodically used — typically in conjunction with a line such as, “You keep [doing whatever you’re doing] … I’ll play more!” Its origin actually was the old Dorito’s TV commercial featuring Jay Leno saying, “Crunch all you want. We’ll make more.” The not-so-subtle meaning was, of course, that consumers need not worry about running out … because Frito-Lay will make more (and they could always buy more). So, long ago, I adopted the “crunch” SFX — initially using it typically with the line, “Keep dancing [crunch]… I’ll play more!” (meaning we’ll never run out of great oldies to dance to). But it later morphed into my tying the line in with whatever the caller happened to be doing (in this case, “You keep puttin’ those groceries away!”). So, I just I thought I’d explain it here (for the first time, I think).
21:46 “‘Eight Miles High’ … haven’t been that way since Stevie Nicks concert of the summer of ’94!” ;-)
22:47 Dan/Canandaigua (“The Twist”)

25:09 Terry (“Bernadette”)
25:30 Naomi/Byron (“Last Kiss”) — including a reference to Pearl Jam’s 1999 cover of the song (“I think I might like the Pearl Jam version a little better!” ;-)
26:24 Scott/Rochester (“Wipe Out”)
