Description

Do you feel that your role as a mother has taken away your self-identity?

Why mums feel like they’ve lost themselves in motherhood?

What does the process of rediscovering yourself look like?

If you are curious to find answers to that, this episode is for you!

In today’s episode I speak to Jacqueline Kelly, a Life Coach and a mum of 2 who shares her motherhood identity shift story and how it has inspired her to train as a Coach to now help mums rediscover, redefine and reclaim themselves back in life.

Jacqueline works with mums who feel like they've lost themselves in motherhood. She supports mothers as they get very clear and confident about who they are now at this stage of their motherhood journey. Jacqueline has spent the last few years challenging the unrealistic standards of motherhood that we are encouraged to aspire to and in doing so has redefined what's possible not just for her, but for the mothers she works with.

Topics covered in this episode:

-        Jacqueline’s story of transition into motherhood

-        Where to begin understanding WHO YOU ARE as a Mum

-        How our values have changed in motherhood

-        Burnout and resentment in motherhood

-        Mom guilt for working

-        “Good Mom” Myth and how to redefine it

-        How to find more joy in motherhood by looking at our doubts

I LOVED this conversation, deep insightful and hope you find in there a compass for you to start reclaiming yourself back in motherhood as a human and a woman.

Enjoy!
