Then I opened my laptop and saw a spreadsheet, and I had to get some things out of my system. ππ£οΈ
I recently researched female course and membership creators to learn about their landing pages. π΅οΈββοΈπ
This research would lead me to design the best possible landing page for a client and her membership offer. π©βπ¨π
I found 82 women doing this as a business; this was enough sample. π©βπΌπ©βπΌ
The sad realisation was that 29 out of the 82 (which is 35%, by the way) did not have a website but only something like LinkTree, Stan Store, Milkshake or even worse, a Google Form. ππ
A message to all my professional people (content creators, business owners, software developers, recruiters, hair stylists, make-up artists, ALL OF YOU) to do a website. π’π
Buy a domain name with your name and surname for Β£15 per year, and start a subscription with WordPress if you are a newbie. ππ‘ If you do not have enough money and design experience, get a Squarespace or Wix membership for less than Β£200 per year and get yourself a website that showcases who you are and what you are interested in and offers value to others! π¨π²
Everyone needs a website; we are in 2023, and a Facebook and LinkedIn account will not cut it. π«π
