Today, I was reminded of the power of niching down. π‘π―
I just finished designing a course for Amy, a client of mine. πβοΈ
She is taking her professional experience and teaching social media marketing, email marketing, lead generation, and paid advertising to her own people, farmers and ranchers who produce their own meat. πΎππ»
If Amy tried to sell all these concepts to a generic crowd like small business owners, she would most likely fail since there are professionals with high brand recognition who have already conquered the space. π«π₯
But she is now addressing a smaller audience, and this is why she will kill it and dominate it. π―π
After she does conquer her niche, she can go a step up and try to conquer a more expansive space than this one. ππ
In our times, where so much information is available, you need to be laser-targeted to whom you talk to. ππ£οΈ
Your niche description has to be a βlong tailβ keyword. ππ
Do not address small business owners.
Instead, address small business owners without employees and less than Β£50K revenue annually. π’π°
Even better, address X business owners without employees and less than Β£50K revenue annually. Where X = hairdressers, make-up artists, car mechanics etc. πββοΈππ οΈ
Thatβs it for today,
See you tomorrow! ππ
