People once believed that a disability was inflicted on one as a form of punishment for sins committed by that person or by parents. This was a form of discrimination, passing down judgment on someone based on their disability alone. As Christians, we have come to understand that a disability is not punishment; rather it’s a way for God’s power to be seen.
