Welcome to class. French Class. Not your typical kind of French Class where you learn how to speak Français but the type of class where you learn how to dance to the beat of French Class.
What is this French Class I speak of you wonder?
French Class is an electronic dance pop project led by Megumi Kimata, a beat maker based in Winnipeg. A festival favourite, French Class makes you want to put on fresh sneakers, grab your friends and get on the dance floor. Megumi works in collaboration with Gabriela Ocejo, Tiana Garcia with her jazz influenced vocals and hot power couple Lindsay Woolgar with Kevin Waters jamming in the rhythm section. French Class kick off 2024 performing at Big Winter Classic in Calgary on January 26th, Winterruption in Edmonton on the 27th and Winnipeg on the 28th at West End Cultural Centre.
