Description

Lilian Dart recently finished her M.A. in the Sustainability Studies program, working with the Kawartha Land Trust to look at volunteer relationships and novel conservation strategies. In the sciences, we are often taught that conservation is keeping an ecosystem precisely as it is without humans, or more often, how an ecosystem was before humans - does that sound familiar? What if that didn't have to be the only way forward? Come with us as we learn how we, as humans, can create a world where we coexist with nature (unfortunately, no dwarves, hobbits, or elves were available to speak on this episode)! Plus, stay tuned to the end for another March Mammal Madness update with Smasha!
