It was through connection and a chance meeting that the lovely Mandy Millan and I ended up sitting in the studio with a cup of tea to chat about her career and how she got to being a successful small business mentor on the Central Coast.

‘Connection’ is a very fitting word, as it was one that came up a lot in our chat and something that Mandy does incredibly well both through connecting her clients to their customers and then her clients to each other, creating a beautiful community of like minded business owners who can all lean on each other and continue to grow.

Born in the UK, Mandy was surrounded by entrepreneurs from a young age, as both her parents and her brothers ran their own small businesses, always with an open mind.

From living in America, completing a bachelor in marketing, working in big corporate roles and running side hustles in Australia at 19, to then heading back to the UK, Mandy always felt connected to both entrepreneurship, with mindfulness and wellbeing kept at the forefront of what she believes makes a successful business, not matter the size.

Meeting her now husband Scott (a business owner himself) they decided to move back to Australia together where the business ventures and big corporate roles would continue for Mandy, and her focus on wellness and connection would play a big part in what led her to where she is today.

Entering the season of motherhood and a sea change from Sydney to the Coast, Mandy naturally moved into a consultancy space for small business owners, that would evolve into facilitating events, private mentoring and the creation of her REACH membership with the aim to help support Central Coast business owners through increasing their reach, connection and clients.

There are two things that she is fiercely driven by: achieving results as well as her passion in the wellbeing space and after chatting with Mandy its safe to say she does that very well.
