What's up, guys? Ryan here, and welcome to the first episode of the 2A Warrior blog.

In this podcast, I will be documenting my journey to become a seven-figure firearms instructor and the many failures and lessons I've learned along the way. This blog will help you avoid making the same mistakes I made so that you can succeed faster.

For the first episodes, I decided to share my backstory so that you can understand the pain, frustration, and difficulty I had to overcome to succeed.

In April 2001, I enlisted in the United States Air Force, and my very first day out of training was September 11th, 2001. Talk about timing. I have always wanted to be an entrepreneur. I'm sure why, but I had a dream that I could be more and do more with my life.

One of my early businesses was a commercial cleaning company called Q&E Cleaning. I got the idea from a friend at church, Ron, who owned a commercial cleaning company and was willing to mentor me.

I spent a few days shadowing Ron as he pitched his services to local businesses. One of the pieces of advice that Ron was to never say no.

"Ryan, no matter what a business owner asks you, say yes, I can do that. Then I'll help you figure out how to make it happen."

I pitched my services to every open business. On the company's first day, I walked down HWY 60 in Brandon, Florida. After dozens of no's, I walked into a PetSmart, a huge pet supply store, and asked for the manager.

To my surprise, the manager said yes and informed me that the property manager would be in touch to discuss the details.
