The NASCAR season officially got underway and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. kicked it off with a trip to the playoffs and a Daytona 500 victory, edging out Joey Logano after a last-lap wreck at the end of the longest Daytona 500 in history. The NASCAR Xfinity Series was also in action with Austin Hill winning his second February Daytona race in a row in a photo finish after a last-lap incident that saw Sam Mayer flip on the backstretch. Zane Smith got the win in a rain-shortened Craftsman Truck Series race. We're here to break down the entire weekend, and news of the week, including Richard Petty being unhappy with Jimmie Johnson's decisions at LEGACY MOTOR CLUB, Travis Pastrana finishing 11th in the Daytona 500, and Kyle Busch coming up just short yet again.
