Winner of six consecutive Best-of-Sedona Awards 2019-2024 for her Sedona Spirit Yoga and Vortex Journeys, Johanna is recognized for her love of sharing Yoga and life coaching amid Sedona's red rocks. Captivated by the mystical beauty of Sedona, Johanna Maheshvari Mosca, PhD left her long-time job as an educational consultant in NYC in 1992 and camped out in Sedona, AZ, for fourteen months. Johanna so enjoyed practicing Yoga at vortex sites that she founded Sedona Spirit Yoga & Vortex Journeys to share her passion for both Yoga and the magnificent red rock vortexes.

Johanna has 33 years of experience teaching Yoga and pursuing advanced studies in Yoga and Meditation training. She is the author of several books and CDs, including YogaLife: 10 Steps to Freedom and Teen Triumph: 10 Ways to a Winning Life. Johanna’s passion lies in guiding guests inward as she shares her lifelong study and practice of Yoga, Meditation, and Shamanic Energy Clearing.
