Description

Life moves fast. Generations rise and fall. Achievements fade. Joy is fleeting. Over and over, Solomon cries out — “All is vanity.”

From the dust we came, and to the dust we return. We labor, we strive, we chase… and still, it can all feel like a fly banging against a closed window — frantic effort with no exit in sight.

But what if the point wasn’t the chasing?
What if the futility Solomon describes is actually a divine setup — to shift our eyes upward, beyond “under the sun,” and toward the God who gives life meaning?

The preacher’s words in Ecclesiastes aren’t a dead end — they’re a wake-up call: everything apart from God is empty. But with Him, even eating, drinking, and working becomes a gift.

In a world that feels full of noise but void of purpose, God whispers through the chaos:
“I know the plans I have for you… to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
