Description

This Sunday, join us as we explore the Bible to understand the freedom we have in Christ. We will look at passages from Colossians 2:16-17, 2 Corinthians 3:6-18, and Titus 3:5-6, along with reflections from Genesis 24.

In Colossians 2:16-17, Paul tells us not to let anyone judge us based on food, drink, or religious festivals. These things were just shadows of what was to come, but the reality is found in Christ. This message frees us from religious rules and invites us into a real relationship with Jesus.

In 2 Corinthians 3:6-18, Paul compares the old covenant, written on stone and bringing condemnation, with the new covenant of the Spirit, which brings life and righteousness. The old covenant's glory faded, shown by the veil Moses wore. But the new covenant's glory is greater and lasts forever. In Christ, the veil is removed, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

Titus 3:5-6 tells us that our salvation is not based on what we have done but on God's mercy. He saves us through the washing and renewal of the Holy Spirit, poured out generously through Jesus Christ. This renewing work changes us from the inside out, making us new in Christ.

We will also reflect on Genesis 24, the story of Abraham's servant finding a wife for Isaac. This story shows God's faithfulness and guidance in our lives.

Through these passages, we will see that our faith is not about following rules but experiencing the power of God's Spirit. This power frees us from sin and legalism, allowing us to live in the freedom and abundance that Christ offers.

Join us as we celebrate the freedom we have in Christ and learn how to live this out daily. We will explore how the Spirit of the Lord changes us, helping us embrace our new identity in Christ and walk in His grace and truth.
