Description

This sermon dives into the incredible truth of God's limitless power as seen through the doctrine of Creatio ex Nihilo, the belief that God created everything out of nothing. In Luke 1:37, "For with God nothing shall be impossible," we see the essence of God’s ability to transcend human limitations. God is not bound by pre-existing matter, space, or time; He is the origin and the source of all things. This truth gives us a foundation for faith and hope in the face of the impossible.

Through examples in Scripture, we witness God's power at work in seemingly impossible situations: parting the Red Sea for the Israelites, giving Abraham a son despite his old age, and enabling David to defeat the lion, the bear, and the giant. All of these examples show us that when God speaks, reality itself changes. He originates everything, and His power then emanates into creation, shaping the universe by His very word.

When Jesus taught in Matthew 17:20 that faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains, He wasn’t just speaking in metaphor. Our faith taps into the same divine power that created the universe. If God can bring something from nothing, then He can surely bring breakthroughs in our lives, no matter how impossible they seem.

The message of this sermon is simple yet profound: If God is the source, if He can create from nothing, then no challenge or obstacle is beyond His reach. In Him, we live, move, and have our being (Acts 17:28), and by trusting in His power, we can face the mountains in our lives with bold faith, knowing that nothing is impossible with God.
