This morning, Pastor Damon preached a raw and redemptive word from the book of Hosea — a living picture of God’s relentless love.
God told Hosea to go get his wife back. Not after she cleaned up. Not after she repented. While she was still in the act of adultery.
That’s how God loves us.
Not after we’re fixed — but while we’re still broken.
Even though Gomer belonged to Hosea, he had to buy back what was already his. That’s what redemption looks like.
Love stepped into the mess. Love paid the price. Love chose us again.
This message reminds us that salvation isn’t afraid of shame.
Salvation sees who you can be — and pays the price to get you there.
