Ephesians 2:8-10 isn’t about self-improvement it’s about new creation. We aren’t “evolved” into Christians; by grace through faith we are made new, not of our works so no one can boast. God calls this new life His workmanship (poiēma) His crafted masterpiece formed in Christ Jesus.
And masterpieces move. We’re created for good works not to earn salvation, but to evidence it “works prepared beforehand” that we now walk in. Where there was void, God speaks life; where there are empty places, the Divine Handyman fills, shapes, and assigns purpose.
This message calls us to rest in grace and rise into purpose:
Saved by grace.
Formed by His hand.
Sent to the good works He’s already mapped out.
