One of the most difficult doctrines that the Bible teaches us is that our God is one, but three distinct persons. Indeed, I would say it is impossible for us to fully understand this mystery. But what can we understand and how is that helpful to us. In particular, how does it help us understand what Jesus did for us when He died on the cross?
