Today’s Scripture:
Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
God is speaking to you in His Word. He had a plan for you and he has a plan for me. He said He knew you. God has a blueprint for your life. It is already done. His plans are to prosper you and to give you a bright future. He also says he will prosper the works of your hand. You have a bright future.
Then, the question comes: why am I in this situation? Why am I homeless? God knows everything about you. I created your future and know where you are going, but it is a process. Then He says, not to harm you. The questions come after this because you ask yourself, why am I not able to make ends meet? Why am I diagnosed with cancer? Why am I dealing with these situations where I am suffering?
These things are there because it is the process and the journey. But if you do not deal with these things, then you think it was you that made you and brought you to the top, so God allows these situations to cause you to depend on him and so that when you reach the top, God would get the glory. Joseph is a perfect example of this; he went through the process of becoming, and his blueprint was there, but he had to go through some hard things, and all of the situations he went through were a part of God’s blueprint for his life.
At the end of it all, Joseph reached the top and said, You meant it for evil, but God meant it for good. It was the completion of God’s blueprint for his life, to give him hope and a bright future, an expected end. Family, you have a Bright Future. God bless you.
