2 Chronicles 20:20 MSG
They were up early in the morning, ready to march into the wilderness of Tekoa. As they were leaving, Jehoshaphat stood up and said, “Listen Judah and Jerusalem! Listen to what I have to say! Believe firmly in God, your God, and your lives will be firm! Believe in your prophets and you’ll come out on top!” or you will be successful
Jehoshaphat the King of Judah had enemies coming against him from many nations. He was overwhelmed, so he turned to God in prayer, acknowledging their helplessness and seeking divine intervention. The Lord responds through a prophet, promising victory without needing battle.
That's a guaranteed victory of coming out on top. When you have such a word from God you have the grit, the courage, and the fortitude to face your enemies because you are assured of victory. The strategy to come out on top was unconventional. Jehoshaphat praised God as he instructed the people to do. It resulted in God's ambushes against the enemies, leading to their defeat without Judah having to fight. This passage highlights God's faithfulness and the power of faith and praise in overcoming challenges.
Jehoshaphat says to the people, Believe in your prophets and you’ll come out on top!” or you will be successful! Trusting God's word through his prophets guarantees coming out on top. Whatever you are dealing with today, believe in your prophets, that person that God has provided for you and that when you receive the word from them your life is transformed and miracles take place, that's your prophet, it could be your pastor, your Minister, evangelist, missionary whoever it is believe in God through the word he gives the prophet over your life and you will come out on top, you will be successful.
