Today’s Scripture:
Romans 15:13 NIV
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
This verse is part of Paul's letter to the Romans, where he concludes his message with a prayer for the believers. Paul says, May the God of all hope. It stands to reason that hope comes from God and through God. There's hope but God is the God of all hope. The question is where is your hope resting today? Most of the time we place our hope in temporary things. We place it in our jobs, our health, our spouses, and even our children, but our hope is futile if it's placed in the temporary.
The Bible says the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. Therefore, when we hope in God whom we cannot see we are hoping in the eternal things (2 Corinthians 4:18). Hence Paul says, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. That's having endless Hope. This overflowing hope is a testimony to the transformative power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
Today, I wanted to remind someone that you can live a life that overflows with hope because of the power of the Holy Spirit. There's endless Hope available today because Christ is in us and we know he is alive, it gives us hope that never dies.
That meeting that requires patience in our family, your marriage, your financial situation, your health, remain hopeful that you will see the goodness of the Lord. Endless Hope is not being ignorant, it's trusting the god who says, "Surely there's a future and our hearts will not my be cut off" Proverbs 23:18.
Family, trust him and wait for him, he will show up and do what no man can do. Remain hopeful today, God is with you and so, you have hope.
