Today’s Scripture:
Isaiah 41:13 NIV
For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
If we stay at the level of fear, we never get to the level of faith. Fear keeps us grounded, while faith propels us to fly. What fear cannot do, faith supersedes. If we are going to become the person God has called us to be, fear must die. When fear dies, it gives birth to faith to live above the parameters of mediocrity.
So, the Lord says, I will take hold of your right hand and say to you, do not fear, don't be afraid; why? Because I will help you. Let go of the fear, grab hold of faith, take my hand, my hand of faith, and let's do it together. We can make it and overcome fear together; Faith is on the other side of your fear.
Sometimes, we must be reminded that we have a helper in God. He gives us the assurance, even in exile, even in the worst times in our lives, that he will help us, be with us, and give us strength by his right hand. God knows that we are prone to become fearful when we are in a low place and things are not looking up for us. But Faith must remain. If we lose faith, we never reach where God wants us to be. Our potential is limited when fear takes over our lives.
God loves you, and love is the antidote to fear. The Bible says, "For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love, and self-discipline." 2 Timothy 1:7 NIV. Then the Bible says Perfect love cast out fear. 1 John 4:18, it says prior that there's no fear in love. So, when God takes us by the right hand, he shows us love, destroying fear and allowing us to rise above fear and reach our potential.
Fear of failure: you don't try at all because you think you'll fail.
Fear of rejection: so you don't connect with others because you believe they'll reject you
Fear of success or the unknown: so you stay in the confines of your mind without exploring what you could become
Fear of greatness or criticism: what others will say about you cripples your ability to rise and become great.
Fear of change causes you to resist new things, new experiences, and even relationships, leading to stagnation and missed opportunities.
Family, today, let go of the limitations of fear, get a hold of faith, and rise above all limitations and medicine. You were meant to live in the atmosphere of faith where nothing is impossible, and all becomes possible. You are more than your fears.
