Title: Beautiful Moments
Scripture: Matthew 11:28-30
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30).
The most valuable things in life are not things, it's the moments that you get to spend with your loved ones.
Yes, society is money-driven, and money is important, but there are billionaires who are not happy and who are finding out that they've wasted their lives chasing money and ignoring the closest people to them, and not taking the time to have moments. We must look for ways to fill our days with the wealth that money cannot buy. I know this is one thing that requires our attention and time. But here's the one thing you cannot get back when it's gone - time.
We need to make joy our GPS. When we have joy, we have strength; we have life. The Bible says the joy of the Lord is my strength (Nehemiah 8:10). When we have joy, we can live life to the fullest life that God intended for us to live. Life is an adventure; it is a journey of moments. These moments must bring us closer instead of further apart. We have seen that we are becoming increasingly distant from each other while we have no moments to enjoy so that we can have a fulfilled life instead of the hustle of life where we are drained and tired. No joy equals no strength.
Have you ever watched the sunset, prayed, breathed, and saw life as a gift worth living, not just enduring? Some of us endure life; we're not living life. God wants you to live life; it's a gift of moments of discovery. Who are you, and what are you here for? These discoveries come in moments. These moments give us the gift of life to have something to live for and look forward to. Beautiful Moments are waiting for you. Are you going to lean into it or allow life to happen to you instead of living life? And accepting the gifts of moments that make up your life story.
