Title: The Cycle of Trauma
Psalm 34:18 (NIV)
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
As we think about Trauma, This verse acknowledges the pain and brokenness that trauma can bring, but it also offers comfort in knowing that God is near to those who are hurting. It speaks to the promise of divine presence and salvation; it provides hope and reassurance that even in the depths of trauma, there is a source of strength and healing- God.
We go through so much pain, stress, and anxiety because of the cycle of trauma. Many of us are stressed and anxious, and that's the norm right now in our society and everyday life.
Let's Define Trauma: There are many different types of trauma.
Trauma refers to a deeply distressing or disturbing experience that overwhelms an individual's ability to cope. It can result from a variety of events, such as accidents, natural disasters, abuse, loss, or witnessing violence. Trauma can have both immediate and long-term psychological, emotional, and physical effects, potentially leading to conditions like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and depression.
There are different types of trauma, as we stated, such as Acute trauma (resulting from a single incident), Chronic trauma (repeated and prolonged events like domestic violence), and complex trauma (exposure to multiple traumatic events, often of an invasive, interpersonal nature). Trauma impacts our psyche and our emotions.
Dive into the word of God for help. And if you don't know how to apply it to your life or understand it, listen to others like myself, listen to other podcasts and preachers and teachers of the word to get clarity. God is near to the brokenhearted. The Bible says to draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. You've got to make the move toward God, and he will make the move toward
