God defends and delivers us from the wicked. There are wicked men in this world who want to see you fail and end up calamity. They mean no good. Their assignment is to see us fail time after time while they rejoice and rise. But today, I am encouraged to serve a God who not only shakes my enemies but also defends and delivers me. That's a good thing right there. Because when I am weak, he’s my strength; when I am exposed, he's my defense; when it seems like all hope is lost, he delivers me. The Bible reminds us that he will deliver us from evil (Matthew 6:13). If you are reading this, you were delivered from COVID-19, and that's enough to shout and praise God for.
It is important to be reminded that, God defends the fatherless, the weak, the poor, and the needy, and he delivers them from the wicked one. This category of people is usually not treated fairly by society, but these are the very people God says he will defend and deliver. What an awesome God that he cares for
those who are overlooked by society.
Remember, our God Defends, meaning he will prevent the attack. But he also delivers meaning when we are being attacked; he will free us from it and take
us out of the fire furnace and the lion's den. Walk in this assurance today that our God delivers and defends.
