Today’s Scripture:
1 Samuel 16:7 NIV
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
If all you see when you look at me is me, then you do not see me. There's more to me than what you see. God says he doesn't look at the outside but sees what's inside of me. God sees something More when he sees me. He sees my present, past, and future; he sees me the way he made me, with greatness inside me.
You might see a nobody, but God sees somebody
You might see a weak person, but God sees one who's strong in him
You might see a waste, but God sees potential and Possibilities
You might see rejected, but God sees accepted
You might see incapable, but God sees capable and efficient with time.
See, when God sees us, he sees us the way he created us to be, but man sees us in our present form, and God sees us in our future form. What he made us before we were formed in the womb. I encourage us to know that what man sees sometimes hurts us, and that's hard for us, but we must rise above it and see what God sees. He sees you in the Destiny and future he created you for. You are a masterpiece, created in the image and likeness of God. Created unto good works which God has prepared in advance for those who love him (Ephesians 2:10).
Masterpieces take time to develop. Masterpieces are not overnight production; they are not instant pieces. Masterpieces must be developed over time and must be tried, tested, and true. God is developing the real you. Most people cannot see you, the real you. They see your height, your smile, your stature, your appearance, how you speak, and what you like and dislike, but they don't know the you that you haven't met yet. You are God's masterpiece.
A masterpiece is a work of outstanding artistry, skill, or workmanship. You are outstanding, skilled, and workmanship, created by the best for the best. You are a Masterpiece!
