Today’s Scripture:
1 Chronicles 5:20 NIV
They were helped in fighting them, and God delivered the Hagrites and all their allies into their hands, because they cried out to him during the battle. He answered their prayers, because they trusted in him.
God will help us if we rely on him and call upon him for help. God is available and ready to help us but we must call upon him for help. We cannot rely on our strength. We are relying too much on our strengths, who we know, and are connected to. But it is critical to remember that we are not alone. God invites us to bring our struggles to Him.
Whether it's a personal crisis, a family issue, or a difficult situation at work, we can cry out to God, knowing that He hears us. Just as He delivered the Israelites because they trusted Him, He will also respond to our prayers and provide the help we need. The question for us today is do we trust God to help us? Here's the thing, we say we trust God to help us but we don't allow him to help us we do things the way we want them and then blame God. But if we cry out to God in trouble he will deliver us and he will save us.
Family, The key to the Israelites' victory was their trust in God. The verse emphasizes that God answered their prayers because they trusted in Him. This trust wasn't passive but active, demonstrated through their reliance on God in the midst of their fight. Trusting God means believing that He is capable and willing to intervene in our situations. It means letting go of anxiety and fear, knowing that God is in control.
