Being destitute can be a hard thing. It can make you feel hopeless, weary, tired, frustrated, afraid, worried, and even want to die. When a person is destitute, they lack resources, the basic necessities of life. It can be hard for those of us who trust in God to find ourselves in a destitute place. It can ruin faith and kill joy and hope. But we have the assurance that God will respond to the prayers of the destitute. It is hard to pray from a place of destitution, but if you pray or try to pray, God says he will respond.
Let us be encouraged today that God will hear the prayers of the destitute. God is close to you, and he is near the brokenhearted. He loves you, and he will
