Hearing from God is one of the most exciting things that a believer could experience on their journey with God. Yet, there are believers who have never heard from God; they've never heard him speak.
Now, hearing from God Comes in many ways. God speaks through men and prophets, God speaks through signs and wonders, God speaks through nature, God speaks through prayer, through the Holy Spirit, through his Word, through experiences, and God speaks directly to us.
That's a lot of ways for God to speak, and we don't hear it; we miss it. We must put some things in place so that we can hear God when he speaks.
One of those things is Prayer.
Spending time in prayer before God is a sure way to hear God. However, prayer is hard. It's one of the hardest things to do for most believers. It should be
easy, but praying is hard work, and most of us don't have the time and energy to pray. But if we should hear God and if he's our priority, then prayer should become easy for us and us. Considering that we get God's ear in prayer, we should be breaking down heaven's gates to speak with the creator of the universe.
