Description

Today’s Scripture:

John 16:32-33 NIV
“A time is coming and in fact has come when you will be scattered, each to your own home. You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me. [33] “I have told you these things so that in me you may have
peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Jesus told his disciples that they would leave him at a point because of the persecution they would face, yet he says to them, " Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me." In other words, Jesus was alone but not alone. Undoubtedly, in 2024, there will be lonely days and times in our lives. We will face abandonment, people leaving us, us leaving people, and people on our job treating us like we don't belong because of our faith. There will be a sense of being alone.

In these times, we must remember the Father is with us. You are not alone. I am not alone. In other words, we are alone but not alone because of the presence of the Lord. Moses said, "Lord, if your presence does not go up from here
with us, we will not go" (Exodus 33:15).

When everyone leaves and life becomes turbulent, we must rest in the understanding that His presence is with us. Remind yourself this year that you are not alone.

I am not alone. That's a powerful statement when you know that Jesus is with you. You can have his peace and comfort because the very things that caused you to run away from him initially, he has conquered so that you can live without
fear, worry, or trepidation.

1 John 5:4 NIV
for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

You are not alone. I am not alone. God is with me. It might look like I'm alone, but I'm not alone. God is with me, and I have his peace.
