God has given us an assurance of His provision in the text; He says, in essence, you have a carte blanche; in other words, you've been given a blank check when it comes to what you can expect or receive from God. God is able; we are not serving a God who we carry around, but our God carries us. He not only carries us, but He provides for us in every way.
He is able to do immeasurably more. That blows my mind when it comes to the fact that there are things that I'm waiting on, but God has given me a blank check and says, even when you write that check based on what your mind can conceive, I can do more than that. God says, I am your provider. I am your God. If you can think or imagine it, God can provide it, and he can even provide more, more than you can imagine, more, more than you can see in your mind's eye. He can do MORE.
So, think of the most important thing in your life that you've been asking God to take care of. He says I can do even more than that. God knows what I need before I even ask or think. His goodness is for me; His kindness gives without limit. God takes care of the birds and the flowers; he will take care of us; he is taking care of us, and God is providing for our daily needs. Today, I would like you to please stop worrying. Can any one of you, by worrying, add a single hour to your life?
That means worrying does nothing but take away from us; it never adds to us because we cannot add anything by worrying but trusting in God to provide above that which we ask or think or imagine, then God adds to us. God’s got immeasurable blessings for us.
