God's love is so powerful that He became man in the person of Jesus to save us or to bring us back to God. Love Brought us back to God. It was His love for us that brought us back to God. How did love bring us back to God? Peter tells us. He said, "For Christ died for sins once and for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God." Now, that's love. That's restoration, that's bringing us back from death to life.
Love always restores; love will bring us back because love forgives, is patient, waits, and is never boastful. We are never too far away that God’s love cannot reach us. God sent Christ to die for us, the sinless for the sinful, the innocent for the guilty, the loving for the hateful, Jesus Christ is love personified.
I am in awe of how much Jesus loves us and that no matter how unrighteous we are, his love can make us righteous, and he can restore us because of his blood that was shed for us. Love Brought us back to God, and his love will keep us. May we share this kind of love and know that we cannot out-sin God's love. His love is everlasting, and it will never run dry.
