After all, we've been through. There must be a resolve in our spirit in the storms of life. We expect the storms. They have a purpose, storms are not forever, and there are rewards after the storms. In our text, Jesus is facing the storm of his life, the storm that he was born for, but at the moment, with the pressure and the magnitude of the storm of the cross, he cries to his father and says, can you let this storm pass? But then we see the most powerful resolve from Jesus, showing his commitment to his father and to us. He says, Nevertheless, I'll do it. Let us resolve to face our storms with a Nevertheless response. We will face it and come out better, just like Jesus did.
