Today’s Scripture:
John 1:29 NIV
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
It is our responsibility to point others to Christ. We can be saved and live for Christ but not point others to Christ, and that is failing because our assignment is to do so. John pointed Jesus out, and that is what we are called to do.
John again points Jesus out. He said, “When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, “Look, the Lamb of God!” John 1:36 NIV
John was intentional and focused on pointing others to Christ. John pointed one person to Christ, and that person pointed another person to Christ, and the pattern continued, and this is what we are called to do: Point others to Christ. It is not about us, we cannot continue to live without pointing others to Christ.
When you truly encounter Christ, you can't help but lead others to Him. We're neglecting a significant part of our mission when we don't guide others to Christ. Today, I urge you: lead others to Christ. Take the time to live and engage with others, and let them see Christ in you.
