The days we live in are certainly the end of time, and the end of everything seems to be rapidly coming to pass. We are living in a time where things are changing at a rapid rate. The earth is heating up, and floods and natural disasters are a daily occurrence. I believe the earth is preparing for the return of Christ. Peter tells us in this text that the end of everything is near. There is nothing stable in our world. Nothing. But prayer is what is required. We need to pray, which is the key to the changes we see in our world.
Peter reminds us to be sober and alert. Do not lose your mind in this season. In these last days, only one thing is required, and that is prayer.
