When we cannot see God's hand at work, we must remember his goodness from long ago. In other words, we must remember what he's done for us before and know that if he could bring us through, he can take care of us now. We must visit our memory bank when it seems like we are in such a dark and cloudy place. Let your memory of God's goodness bring light into that darkness. No matter how low you get, there is always something good to be thankful for.
