Today’s Scripture:
Jeremiah 20:11 KJV
But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.
When God is with a person, he fortifies them. He makes them secure, and he gives them safety. It is one thing to be with God and another to know that God is with you. God secures those who are with humans those whom he is with. The Bible reminds us, "If God be for us, who can be against us" (Romans 8:31), that's security and safety. I am safe and secure from every enemy attack when God is with me.
Much can be said about the Lord's presence, security, and safety for those he loves. David said, "Yeah, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; why? For the Lord is with me. In other words, he is saying
the Lord is with me as a mighty terrible one. I am secure and safe in the presence of the Lord.
Be encouraged in this new year that "No weapon formed against you will prosper." In other words, it will not prevail against you. Instead, they shall be ashamed, and their confusion will be forgotten. Whether it's on your job, business, or finances, no matter who or where the attacks come from. You are guaranteed security and safety because God is with you.
You have the upper hand in 2024. More are with you than those who are against you. Stand with the Lord; he will stand for you. Walk with him, and you will not stumble; your enemies will be utterly ashamed.
You are secured; you are safe in God. Trust him. He will not allow you to be exposed, but he covers you with his protection and his presence.
