Giving praise unto God is one of the most beautiful, peaceful, and loving experiences one could ever have when it comes to being in the presence of God. The Bible is clear that God inhabits the praises of His people; in other words, he comes and dwells with us when we praise Him.
This text reminds us that praise is not just what we do without thinking meaning with no intentionality, or we do it because someone asks us to praise...no it says, "By him, therefore, let us offer the sacrifice of praise...". Therefore, praise is offering a sacrifice unto God, meaning it is building an altar where God can be pleased with us, but it's also where, as we noted earlier, he comes and dwells.
When we offer up sacrificial praise, God is obligated to respond and to come and deliver us because the Bible says, "But thou art holy, O thou that inhabits
the praises of Israel." Psalm 22:3 KJV. Thus, Singing and giving God praise is a sacrifice that invites God into our situation... and the scripture says we do it continually because it is the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name (Hebrews 13:15).
Sing your way out of it... Dealing with sickness, heartache, depression, regrets, hurts, and loss, Praise God and sing your way out of it. Praise is a weapon... your praise can be weaponized. Weaponize your praise and sing your way out of whatever it is that you are dealing with in your life.
