Today’s Scripture:
1 Corinthians 15:58 NIV
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
Let nothing move you, stand. Again we are being told to stand firm. We have to resist the devil and fight back. It is one thing to stand firm, but then there come situations that can cause us to become shaky, and that will move us or want to move us. For example, some family situations make us shaky and not flatfooted; we become weak and shaky.
He says, let nothing move you, commit to the work of God and become committed to the work of God and the word of God. He says when you do this, your labor is not in vain. Let nothing move you; when you have given all to God and living right, you must always know that your labor is not in vain, let nothing move you. It might seem like what you are doing for God is in vain, but it is not; the enemy knows what to use to move us, but we must become unmovable; we cannot allow these things to move us.
When it comes time for God to reward you, he will. He reminds us that there is a reward for our labor, so if we seek God, we will find him because there is a reward in the end. In due season, you shall reap. DO not be moved by what others are doing and by the experience of others, they are making ore money, they are living the life you want to live, but don’t let it move you. Stand, don’t be moved. God is up to something for you, and he will reward you in his time.
