Jesus had been teaching all day, and now he says to his disciples, come, let's go over to the other side. This was not an incident, but it was intentional. God never does anything accidentally, but all his moves are intentional. The intentilally of our storms are one thing, but knowing that storms are not forever is abdolutely essential for us to know. Storms are not forever, the things that you are dealing with will not last forever. There is an end date to your storm.
