Today’s Scripture:
Hebrews 4:16 NIV
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Grace is a helper! Without grace, we have no help in this life. The response to every prayer that you pray to God is grace. Every problem you have in your life is a result of the lack of grace in your life.
What is grace? Grace is a divine platform that enables man to take advantage of the abilities of heaven while you're here on earth. Grace is also the spiritual force that empowers a man to operate in a dimension of God here on earth. Without grace, we have no help. When a man or woman walks in grace, they have help. The helper called grace is with them. Grace empowers or helps us to accomplish the task at hand.
The Bible says, “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:” (2 Corinthians 9:8, KJV). That means all help is available to you because you've got grace; the helper called grace is for you, and this grace gives you the capacity to be sufficient in all things and prevail or triumph unto good works. That's grace.
Paul gives light to this in 2 Corinthians 12:8-9 NIV, he says, “Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. [9] But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” Jesus will help you. He is the helper called grace.
The Holy Spirit is our helper. The Bible says, “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another comforter, or advocate to help you and be with you forever—” (John 14:16, NIV).
The word comforter in the text is translated as helper. So he's saying here, you have an helper, he's the helper called grace. If you are dealing with a situation that You need help in, this helper called grace is willing and able to help you. He is there to help you that's his assignment and to be with you forever. You have help, The Helper called grace, Jesus Christ.
