Perfect peace comes from a perfect God. The peace that comes from this world is unstable because the world is unstable, but the peace of God is perfect peace because God is perfect. He is our stability. We can trust God because of his faithfulness and his word. The world makes promises but cannot keep them because they are unstable and dishonest. Thus, it is frustrating because we cannot depend on the systems of the world. When our foundation is built on Christ, that is a sure foundation, and we have stability in him. In Christ, we have the grace to live, and it is all based on trust in our Father. Even when things are going wrong and seem to be overwhelming, we can still depend on and trust in our God because he promises to be with us in the valley.
