Today’s Scripture:
Genesis 1:11-12 NIV
Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” And it was so. The land produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds and trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.
God is a provider. He provides for us in every way because he is the ultimate provider. He provides first. He didn't just make us but also tried to figure out what we needed. He made us and provided before we had a need. We were made last.
After he provided for us, he brought us into the picture. That's provision. Henceforth, there was nothing that man needed that God never provided before man was created. The ultimate provider provides. Are you in need today? God has already provided for that need. You might have to work it a little more, but he has provided. He will never leave you without provision; that's not His nature. He provides.
Family, before you realize a need, God has already provided for it. You know what's funny here is that humanity didn't realize that it needed food or anything else for that matter, but God provided it. We must trust in God's word and his divine timing. He cares enough for you to provide just what you need.
We must also realize that what God provided was in abundance. It wasn't just a little; he provided sufficiently, to the point where we are still benefiting from what he provided today. He has no limits. He's the ultimate provider. Wherever you have been limiting God, take the limits off. He has no boundaries. Yes, God provides for us in abundance. Not just us, but he provides for every living creature. That's how generous our God is.
